GARDENS & RAILWAY

Be part of our next adventure in partnership with the Indio Water Authority, Lowe’s and Hot Purple Energy! This new addition to our campus includes a Railway exhibit, Drought Tolerant Gardens and so much more!

The Debut of Our Gardens & Railway Exhibition Is Right Around the Corner!

This new addition is located on the 15,000 square foot lot located on the northeast corner of the campus. The unique drought tolerant demonstration gardens feature:

  • Agave Gardens

  • Cactus Gardens

  • Monarch Butterfly Monitoring Stations

  • Hummingbird Gardens

  • Raised Community Gardens, and more!

“All Aboard!” With Our New Addition to the Museum

The Railway Exhibit will feature a recently purchased 1950’s stainless steel railway car that will be converted to be a Southern Pacific dining car. Guests can enjoy a unique, one-of-a-kind trip into the past and take a virtual journey to different destinations!
